Arizona Republican drops re-election bid amid possible petition forgery investigation

(The Cen­ter Square) – Ari­zona Rep. Austin Smith with­drew his can­di­da­cy for re-elec­tion after a sig­na­ture chal­lenge alleged that some sig­na­tures on his nom­i­nat­ing peti­tion were forged.
