Trump jumps on free media outside New York court to blast judge — and Biden

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump is seiz­ing the moment for max­i­mum media cov­er­age as he deals with two crim­i­nal cas­es this week that will deter­mine the future of his cam­paign.
Trump lament­ed his inabil­i­ty to attend court in Wash­ing­ton, D.C., where the Supreme Court is decid­ing whether he has immu­ni­ty from crim­i­nal charges alleg­ing he plot­ted to over­turn the results of the 2020 elec­tion.
“I think that the Supreme Court has a very impor­tant argu­ment before it today. I would have loved to have been there, but this judge would not allow it,” Trump told reporters Thurs­day morn­ing in New York while attack­ing Judge Juan Mer­chan.
“I should be there, but he wouldn’t allow it to hap­pen. I think he puts him­self above the Supreme Court, which is unfor­tu­nate, isn’t it?” Trump con­tin­ued.
