Trump on trial: Four legal problems former president has as lawyers ask Supreme Court to consider immunity

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump has been the focus of sev­er­al legal sto­ries across the coun­try over the past day as he is also the cen­ter of two sep­a­rate court pro­ceed­ings.
The for­mer pres­i­dent is seek­ing to win anoth­er term in the White House in Novem­ber, but while his name has been in the head­lines, it has also been at the cen­ter of four court cas­es this week.
Ari­zona ‘fake elec­tor’ indict­ments
A grand jury in Ari­zona hand­ed down indict­ments for 18 peo­ple with­in Trump’s orbit on Wednes­day for alleged­ly try­ing to over­turn the 2020 pres­i­den­tial elec­tion in the Grand Canyon State.
Trump was not one of the 18 indict­ed, but he was strong­ly allud­ed to being “Uniden­ti­fied Cocon­spir­a­tor 1” in the charg­ing doc­u­ment.
