Par for the Course: Google AI Gem­i­ni Jus­ti­fies Cen­sor­ship, Defends Cli­mate Pro­pa­gan­da

MRC researchers caught Google’s biased arti­fi­cial intel­li­gence chat­bot Gem­i­ni pre­sent­ing an argu­ment for cen­sor­ing so-called cli­mate “mis­in­for­ma­tion,” while simul­ta­ne­ous­ly refus­ing to acknowl­edge any evi­dence under­min­ing the “main­stream” cli­mate nar­ra­tive.
While Gem­i­ni AI did admit that most so-called cli­mate “mis­in­for­ma­tion” — or analy­sis that the left dis­agrees with — is pro­tect­ed free speech, it still offered an alter­na­tive argu­ment for cen­sor­ing such con­tent.
