EXCLUSIVE — Voters are becoming increasingly concerned about national security risks posed by China, including regarding food security, and are welcoming of stricter, protectionist measures in response, except when it comes to TikTok, according to a new national poll.
The poll, conducted by the Tyson Group and paid for by conservative nonprofit organization Building America’s Future, found former President Donald Trump was leading President Joe Biden 39% to 36% before November’s general election, with independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. receiving another 11% of the vote.
But the poll also found a majority of likely general election voters supported legislation introducing tougher measures on China.
