Kamala Har­ris says she knows peo­ple talk about her laugh: ‘From the bel­ly’

Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Har­ris addressed the atten­tion she gets online for the unique way she laughs.
Har­ris talked about the ori­gin of her laugh in a yet-to-be-released seg­ment of Drew the day­time talk show host­ed by actress Drew Bar­ry­more. While the inter­view in its entire­ty will air Mon­day, a clip cir­cu­lat­ed on X.
“You were ask­ing me ear­li­er about what it means to be, like, the first woman. And, you know, it’s fun­ny, because peo­ple still got to get used to this, right?” Har­ris said of being the first female vice pres­i­dent. “I mean, my staff, for exam­ple, some­times they’ll show me lit­tle things that just amuse me. Like, appar­ent­ly, some peo­ple love to talk about the way I laugh.”
