Biden is not showing control over campus protests: Sarah Bedford

The Wash­ing­ton Examiner’s Sarah Bed­ford con­tend­ed Wednes­day that Pres­i­dent Joe Biden has not attempt­ed to calm the dis­or­der hap­pen­ing across the Unit­ed States, specif­i­cal­ly on col­lege cam­pus­es.
As mas­sive protests in sup­port of Pales­tini­ans have tak­en place, some, such as those at Colum­bia Uni­ver­si­ty, have turned vio­lent. Bed­ford, the inves­ti­ga­tions edi­tor for the Wash­ing­ton Exam­in­er, argued that Biden’s rel­a­tive indif­fer­ence regard­ing the ensu­ing unrest has allowed for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, the pre­sump­tive pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee for the Repub­li­can Par­ty, to have “a monop­oly” on the top­ic.
“Joe Biden is not try­ing to demon­strate that he has con­trol of the sit­u­a­tion,” Bed­ford said on Fox News’s Your World with Neil Cavu­to. “Right now, it seems like his pri­ma­ry con­cern is not alien­at­ing the very small fac­tion of the Demo­c­ra­t­ic Par­ty that just hap­pens to be con­cen­trat­ed in some of these swing states that would be upset with him if he were per­ceived as crack­ing down on these pro­test­ers.”
