More clash­es overnight at anti-Israel demon­stra­tions through­out the coun­try 

Pro-Pales­tin­ian pro­test­ers con­tin­ued to clash with law enforce­ment offi­cials overnight in var­i­ous inci­dents through­out the coun­try.
The sit­u­a­tion at UCLA remained tense with pro­test­ers and police offi­cers on Wednes­day night. There were mul­ti­ple reports of the Los Ange­les Police Depart­ment breach­ing the pro-Pales­tin­ian encamp­ment ear­ly Thurs­day morn­ing in an attempt to clear the pro­test­ers. It did not work.

Lat­er, pro­test­ers appeared to push back the LAPD and force them to retreat, accord­ing to reports. Then, short­ly before 3 a.m. PST, the Cal­i­for­nia High­way Patrol arrived wear­ing riot gear and report­ed­ly breached the pro­test­ers’ block­ade.
