House Speaker Mike Johnson (R‑LA) looks likely to survive a motion to vacate next week, but Democrats are now reportedly questioning if they should have driven a harder bargain for their support.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R‑GA) said she would force a vote on the motion to vacate next week after initially filing it in March. Earlier this week, House Democratic leadership said it would vote to table the motion, practically ensuring that Johnson would be safe.
