Trump Accus­es Democ­rats Of Run­ning A ‘Gestapo Admin­is­tra­tion’

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump com­pared the Biden admin­is­tra­tion and its allies to the Nazi regime’s secret police while speak­ing to donors at a pri­vate event at his Mar-a-Lago club in Flori­da over the week­end, where he appeared on stage with poten­tial run­ning mates and oth­er sup­port­ers.
The New York Times and Wash­ing­ton Post said they obtained audio of the remarks in which Trump claimed the Democ­rats, led by Pres­i­dent Joe Biden, are coor­di­nat­ing the var­i­ous fed­er­al and state-lev­el indict­ments he is fight­ing against while run­ning anoth­er cam­paign for the White House in this year’s elec­tion.
“These peo­ple are run­ning a Gestapo admin­is­tra­tion,” Trump said. “And it’s the only thing they have. And it’s the only way they’re going to win, in their opin­ion, and it’s actu­al­ly killing them. But it doesn’t both­er me.”
