Former President Donald Trump surrounded himself with potential running mates and other allies on Saturday during the Republican National Committee (RNC) spring retreat at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
Among those who joined Trump on stage in the Grand Ballroom for a lunch event were Sens. Marco Rubio (R‑FL) and Tim Scott (R‑SC), entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, all former 2024 presidential rivals now considered to be in the running for vice president, according to a post to X from his campaign.
