Burgum Defends Trump Against Manhattan Criminal Trial

North Dako­ta Repub­li­can Gov­er­nor Doug Bur­gum defend­ed for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump on Sun­day against the crim­i­nal charges he faces from the Man­hat­tan Dis­trict Attorney’s Office.
Bur­gum made the remarks dur­ing an inter­view on CNN’s “State of the Union” with host Jake Tap­per.
