DNC calls on Nevada and Michigan judges to throw out voter integrity lawsuits

The Demo­c­ra­t­ic Nation­al Com­mit­tee is call­ing for judges in Michi­gan and Neva­da to throw out law­suits relat­ed to vot­er rolls and to mail-in bal­lots.
On behalf of Pres­i­dent Joe Biden’s reelec­tion cam­paign, the Demo­c­ra­t­ic Nation­al Com­mit­tee filed three ami­cus briefs regard­ing law­suits filed by the Repub­li­can Nation­al Com­mit­tee in the two bat­tle­ground states. The DNC said the “dan­ger­ous” and “flawed” law­suits are just attempts by for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump and the RNC to erode the public’s con­fi­dence in elec­tion integri­ty come Novem­ber. 
The two law­suits sug­gest the num­ber of active vot­ers in key coun­ties in those states are “sus­pi­cious­ly high” and are call­ing on elec­tion offi­cials to can­cel vot­er reg­is­tra­tions. In addi­tion, the DNC is ask­ing the court to dis­miss a chal­lenge fr …
