House moves to override Biden’s 11th veto that pushed him past Trump mark

The House plans to vote Tues­day to over­ride Pres­i­dent Joe Biden‘s veto of leg­is­la­tion block­ing the Nation­al Labor Rela­tions Board’s new joint-employ­er rule from going into effect.
The mea­sure, which would block the Biden admin­is­tra­tion from sig­nif­i­cant­ly loos­en­ing the stan­dards used for deter­min­ing joint-employ­er sta­tus, had pre­vi­ous­ly passed both the House and Sen­ate.
Biden vetoed H.J.Res.98 this past Fri­day, mark­ing his 11th veto and push­ing him just ahead of for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump on the all-time pres­i­den­tial list. For­mer Pres­i­dent Franklin Delano Roo­sevelt holds the record for most vetoes, strik­ing down 635 pieces of leg­is­la­tion from 1933 to 1945.
