Num­ber of the beast: Trump and Biden focus on six issues in six key states

Pres­i­dent Joe Biden and for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump are focus­ing on six dif­fer­ent issues, tar­get­ing 6% of vot­ers in six key bat­tle­ground states.
Accord­ing to a report from Axios, the Trump and Biden cam­paigns believe the 2024 pres­i­den­tial elec­tion will be decid­ed by 6% of vot­ers in six dif­fer­ent states, rep­re­sent­ing just 0.5% of the pop­u­la­tion. Of the six crit­i­cal states, Biden won all but one in 2020, but polls now large­ly favor Trump or have him tied in every state but Michi­gan. Penn­syl­va­nia, won by Trump in 2016 and Biden in 2020, is believed by many to be the piv­otal state in 2024. The oppos­ing cam­paigns believe their best chance to win is to push three major issues each, that each is typ­i­cal­ly seen as stronger on.
