Nearly 130k Illegal Immigrants Apprehended On Southern Border In April

Near­ly 130,000 ille­gal immi­grants were appre­hend­ed on the south­ern bor­der in April, mark­ing a slight decline from the pre­vi­ous month.
The unof­fi­cial report from Bor­der Patrol, first obtained by Bre­it­bart News, record­ed 129,000 ille­gal immi­grant appre­hen­sions across the south­west bor­der last month, mark­ing a decline of 8,000 from March.
The fig­ure brings the total num­ber of ille­gal immi­grant appre­hen­sions for the 2024 fis­cal year, which began in Octo­ber 2023, to almost 1.2 mil­lion. The year is cur­rent­ly pro­ject­ed to sur­pass last year’s total appre­hen­sions fig­ure of 2.046 mil­lion, which would make it the third year in a row under Pres­i­dent Joe Biden that the fig­ure sur­passed 2 mil­lion year­ly appre­hen­sions.
