Meg­yn Kel­ly Oblit­er­ates Surf­ing Asso­ci­a­tion After It Decides To Allow Males To Com­pete Against Women

Meg­yn Kel­ly oblit­er­at­ed a Cal­i­for­nia surf­ing asso­ci­a­tion after it changed its mind, decid­ing now it would be fine to allow bio­log­i­cal males to com­pete against women.
The host of Sir­ius XM’s “The Meg­yn Kel­ly Show” pod­cast react­ed on Fri­day to the news that the Amer­i­can Long­board Asso­ci­a­tion reversed its deci­sion for a surf­ing com­pe­ti­tion in Cal­i­for­nia to allow trans-iden­ti­fy­ing male ath­letes to com­pete in the women’s divi­sion por­tion of the sport.
The association’s founder, Todd Mes­sick, pre­vi­ous­ly faced a back­lash for his deci­sion to not allow a trans­gen­der ath­letes to com­pete against the women, with the Cal­i­for­nia Coastal Com­mis­sion mak­ing it clear that its rules for surf com­pe­ti­tions could “not dis­crim­i­nate based on gen­der.” Now trans­gen­der surfer Sasha Jane Low­er­son will be able to com­pete in the Hunt­ing­ton Beach Long­board Pro against women.
