Biden cam­paign to hold star-stud­ded LA fundrais­er: Report

Biden’s cam­paign is plan­ning a fundrais­er that will fea­ture for­mer Pres­i­dent Barack Oba­ma, George Clooney, and Julia Roberts.
The fundrais­er will be held in Los Ange­les some­time next month and will fea­ture a con­test put on by Clooney and Roberts across social media aimed at bring­ing in grass­roots dona­tions, accord­ing to NBC News, which cit­ed a Biden cam­paign offi­cial.
Clooney and Roberts, both major Hol­ly­wood stars, will also help Pres­i­dent Joe Biden’s reelec­tion cam­paign by being includ­ed in the campaign’s text mes­sages and email blasts. The goal is to increase Biden’s cash advan­tage against for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, who is the pre­sump­tive Repub­li­can pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee.
