Sen. Rick Scott (R‑FL) has accused President Joe Biden of appeasing the “pro-Hamas” side of the Democratic Party, adding that his handling of the war in Gaza contributes to his failing track record.
Scott’s claim against Biden comes after the president indicated the United States would no longer provide Israel with bombs and artillery shells should Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launch an invasion of Rafah, Gaza. The Florida senator argued that Israel has “no choice” but to destroy Rafah to destroy the Hamas terrorist group should Israel wish to provide peace for its country.
