Biden turns to CNN for first pres­i­den­tial debate, a net­work Trump loves to hate

Pres­i­dent Joe Biden accept­ed an invi­ta­tion from CNN to debate in June, the first orga­ni­za­tion to be pub­licly announced as a poten­tial debate host after the pres­i­dent chal­lenged for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump to join him on stage Wednes­day morn­ing.
“I’ve received and accept­ed an invi­ta­tion from @CNN for a debate on June 27th. Over to you, Don­ald,” Biden said in a post to X. “As you said: any­where, any time, any place.”
