Car­di B lat­est to reverse endorse­ment of Biden despite fear of get­ting ‘black­balled’

Rap­per Car­di B reit­er­at­ed her crit­i­cisms of Joe Biden, join­ing the wave of celebri­ties of col­or dis­tanc­ing them­selves from the Demo­c­ra­t­ic can­di­date for pres­i­dent this Novem­ber.
Car­di B, whose legal name is Bel­calis Mar­le­nis Alman­zar, con­tin­ued to com­mit that she will not be vot­ing in the 2024 elec­tions in an inter­view with the Rolling Stone. Her switch from once endors­ing Biden ahead of the 2020 elec­tion to now not vot­ing for either can­di­date this year, comes from “lay­ers and lay­ers of dis­ap­point­ment” in the cur­rent pres­i­dent.
“I feel like peo­ple got betrayed,” Car­di B said. “It’s just like, d***, y’all not car­ing about nobody.”
Mean­while, under Biden’s direc­tion, Con­gress allot­ted anoth­er $26.38 bil­lion to Israel amid its fight in Gaza against Hamas. Car­di B implied that artists of col­or, in par­tic­u­lar, can be “black­balled” for express­ing their dis­ap­proval of the war.
