Anna Pauli­na Luna calls for pres­i­den­tial debate drug test require­ment

Rep. Anna Pauli­na Luna (R‑FL) called for drug tests pri­or to pres­i­den­tial debates, call­ing into ques­tion Pres­i­dent Joe Biden‘s men­tal fac­ul­ties.
“I think that we need to,” Luna said after being asked about calls for pre-debate drug tests by Sun­day Morn­ing Futures host­ess Maria Bar­tiro­mo. “We’re talk­ing about some­one who has the abil­i­ty to launch nukes.”
The calls for drug tests come as Trump, 77, and Biden, 81, have agreed to two debates, one in June and one in Sep­tem­ber, and after Trump said he would demand a drug test, accus­ing Biden of being “high as a kite” deliv­er­ing the State of the Union address. Trump has been push­ing to debate Biden for months, but Biden only agreed to do so in the past few days.
