Sen. Tim Scott (R‑SC) stated that whoever former President Donald Trump picks for his vice president will be based on the topics that voters face every day.
Trump, the presumptive presidential nominee of the Republican Party, has yet to announce who he will pick to join his 2024 ticket, though he has suggested in interviews that he will be making a decision “closer to Wisconsin time,” referring to the Republican National Convention Milwaukee this July. Scott is among the candidates Trump is rumored to be considering for his vice presidential bid, and was asked about what he could bring to the table as if chosen for the role.
