Presidential candidate Donald Trump is beating incumbent President Joe Biden‘s polling in two states where abortion protections are a concern.
A new CBS News/YouGov poll found that out of some 1,510 Arizonans, even though abortion was ranked as the top sixth most important factor in who they will vote for president, 52% pledged their vote to Trump while the remaining 47% pledged to Biden. Out of 1,576 Floridians, abortion was ranked even lower as the seventh most important factor, and 54% were planning to vote for Trump with 45% for Biden.
Currently, Florida has a law banning abortion after six weeks, except in cases where the mother’s health is at risk. Arizona similarly made abortion illegal even in the case of rape and incest. The only exception is for mothers whose lives are at an immediate risk. Biden has made a conce …
