Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D‑TX) has filed a trademark application for a biting insult she hurled against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R‑GA) during a House Oversight Committee hearing, extending a feud between two well-known members of the House.
Crockett’s campaign filed the phrase “bleach blonde bad built butch body” with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Sunday. The expression references a remark Crockett directed toward Greene last week. While pressing Chairman James Comer (R‑KY) on what constituted a breach of congressional protocol, Crockett asked, “If someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody’s bleach-blonde, bad-built, butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?”
