For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump and the Repub­li­can Par­ty out­raised Pres­i­dent Joe Biden and the Democ­rats by $25 mil­lion last month, push­ing Trump’s cam­paign clos­er to match­ing Biden’s war chest.
Trump and the GOP report­ed tak­ing in a com­bined $76 mil­lion in April, an amount that was boost­ed by Trump’s record $50.5 mil­lion haul at a sin­gle event with wealthy donors in ear­ly April, ABC News report­ed. Biden and the Demo­c­ra­t­ic Nation­al Com­mit­tee, mean­while, report­ed rak­ing in around $51 mil­lion last month.
