AOC mocks Trump’s New York con­fine­ment: ‘Legal ver­sion of an ankle bracelet’

Rep. Alexan­dria Oca­sio-Cortez (D‑NY) mocked for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s inabil­i­ty to cam­paign out­side New York because of his legal prob­lems.
The fire­brand rep­re­sen­ta­tive from the Bronx blast­ed the for­mer pres­i­dent a day before he makes a trip into her dis­trict for a ral­ly this week.
“The man prac­ti­cal­ly has the legal ver­sion of an ankle bracelet around him,” Oca­sio-Cortez said. “And he can’t leave the five bor­oughs because he always has to be in court.”
Trump is fac­ing four crim­i­nal cas­es, includ­ing a hush mon­ey case in Man­hat­tan that has required him to be in the city every Mon­day, Tues­day, Thurs­day, and Fri­day since April 15.
