Over 140 House Democ­rats vot­ed against a bill from Rep­re­sen­ta­tive August Pfluger (R‑TX) that would safe­guard Wash­ing­ton D.C.’s munic­i­pal elec­tions by bar­ring non-cit­i­zens like ille­gal immi­grants from vot­ing.
