Trump is speak­ing at the con­ven­tion in hopes to appeal to right-lean­ing lib­er­tar­i­ans, and is the first pres­i­dent to speak at the Lib­er­tar­i­an Party’s top event.
Vivek Ramaswamy and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke at the con­ven­tion Fri­day, with the for­mer receiv­ing a hail of boos from the audi­ence after some instances in which he men­tioned Trump’s name. Some believe he won’t have a pos­i­tive recep­tion from the crowd on Sat­ur­day evening.
