Trump guilty: GOP and Biden cash in on verdict with fundraising pleas

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump‘s guilty ver­dict on Thurs­day was met with swift fundrais­ing pleas from both polit­i­cal par­ties.
The pre­sump­tive GOP pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee, con­gres­sion­al Repub­li­cans, and Pres­i­dent Joe Biden mount­ed imme­di­ate fundrais­ers after Trump was found guilty by a Man­hat­tan jury on all 34 crim­i­nal felony counts in his New York hush-mon­ey tri­al.
