Trump guilty: Verdict draws ‘cheering’ to ‘disgraced’ reaction

Celebri­ties from both sides of the polit­i­cal aisle respond­ed to for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s guilty ver­dict Thurs­day.
A Man­hat­tan jury found Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts of fal­si­fy­ing busi­ness records. Some of Trump’s celebri­ty sup­port­ers lament­ed that the crim­i­nal con­vic­tion of a for­mer pres­i­dent was a sign of the end of the Unit­ed States’s rep­u­ta­tion.
