Harris to make ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ appearance months after canceling

Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Har­ris will appear as a guest on Jim­my Kim­mel Live on June 4 after can­cel­ing in April.
Har­ris was ini­tial­ly sched­uled for April 16, but she pulled out at the last minute with­out an expla­na­tion. At the time, the Ari­zona Supreme Court ruled abor­tion ille­gal, even in the cas­es of rape and incest. The vice pres­i­dent vis­it­ed the state to decry the law and cam­paign on her abor­tion-rights stance.
The last time Har­ris appeared on the pro­gram was in 2019, when she was a Demo­c­ra­t­ic sen­a­tor rep­re­sent­ing Cal­i­for­nia who was also vying for the pres­i­den­tial nom­i­na­tion. Then-pres­i­den­tial nom­i­nee Joe Biden went on to pick her as his run­ning mate in August 2020. Now she is con­tin­u­ing to par­tic­i­pate in their reelec­tion cam­paign.
