New memo shows Trump’s tri­al will have min­i­mal ‘impact on vot­ers.’ Is that good or bad for Trump?

Short­ly before the ver­dict of for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s hush mon­ey case was announced on Thurs­day, a memo cir­cu­lat­ed by the Trump cam­paign sug­gest­ed that Trump’s tri­al would only have a min­i­mal impact on who vot­ers sup­port in Novem­ber. 
“Accord­ing to the append­ed memo based on our inter­nal sur­veys con­duct­ed by Tony Fab­rizio, well over 50% of Amer­i­cans have con­sis­tent­ly stat­ed the tri­al is a polit­i­cal sham,” the memo read. “A vast major­i­ty of Repub­li­cans and inde­pen­dents believe that the pros­e­cu­tion has failed to make their case that Don­ald Trump did any­thing wrong. They see the cor­rupt Judge and the Biden show tri­als for what they are.”
