Burgum: Americans Will Vote On ‘Issues That Affect Them’ Like ‘Inflation’, Not Trump’s Trial

North Dako­ta Gov­er­nor Doug Bur­gum argued over the week­end that the Amer­i­can peo­ple are not going to vote for pres­i­dent based on the results of the for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s tri­al in Man­hat­tan because they only care about issues that impact them at home.
Bur­gum made the remarks dur­ing a Sun­day inter­view with CBS News host Mar­garet Bren­nan on “Face The Nation” while dis­cussing the high­ly con­tro­ver­sial case and ver­dict from the tri­al.
