Trump mocks Biden’s strategy to call him ‘threat to democracy’

Pres­i­den­tial can­di­date Don­ald Trump mocked Pres­i­dent Joe Biden‘s cam­paign strat­e­gy to call him a threat to democ­ra­cy.
Trump appeared for an inter­view with Fox and Friends Week­end that aired Sun­day as his first tele­vi­sion inter­view since he received a guilty ver­dict in Man­hat­tan court. On Thurs­day, a jury ruled the for­mer pres­i­dent was guilty of 34 counts of fal­si­fy­ing busi­ness records. Trump referred to the court pro­ceed­ings as a “weaponiza­tion” tac­tic to thwart his cam­paign.
“Now I think I’m lead­ing over this guy that can’t put two sen­tences togeth­er, that’s destroy­ing our coun­try. Look, he’s the worst pres­i­dent in the his­to­ry of this coun­try, and he’s a dan­ger to the coun­try,” Trump said of Biden. “And, you know, they have mis­in­for­ma­tion. ‘Don­ald Trump is a threat to democ­ra­cy.’ It’s just words.
