
Presidential candidate Donald Trump mocked President Joe Biden‘s campaign strategy to call him a threat to democracy.
Trump appeared for an interview with Fox and Friends Weekend that aired Sunday as his first television interview since he received a guilty verdict in Manhattan court. On Thursday, a jury ruled the former president was guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records. Trump referred to the court proceedings as a “weaponization” tactic to thwart his campaign.
“Now I think I’m leading over this guy that can’t put two sentences together, that’s destroying our country. Look, he’s the worst president in the history of this country, and he’s a danger to the country,” Trump said of Biden. “And, you know, they have misinformation. ‘Donald Trump is a threat to democracy.’ It’s just words.
