Trump ‘OK’ with prospect of being jailed, but doesn’t think supporters will be

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump said he is “OK” with the pos­si­bil­i­ty of being sen­tenced to time in jail or on house arrest after being found guilty on 34 felony counts relat­ed to busi­ness fraud last week.
“I’m OK with it,” Trump told Fox News Sun­day in an inter­view. “I don’t know that the pub­lic would stand it. I’m not sure that the pub­lic would stand for it.”
Trump was con­vict­ed on all 34 counts Thurs­day fol­low­ing a three-week tri­al about hush mon­ey pay­ments made to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 pres­i­den­tial elec­tion.
