Another day, another airport grant announcement for Georgia

(The Cen­ter Square) — The fed­er­al gov­ern­ment announced a pair of air­port grants for Geor­gia, includ­ing mon­ey for an air­port in mid­dle Geor­gia and a statewide grant pro­gram.
The fund­ing is part of near­ly $187 mil­lion in tax­pay­er-backed grants for 90 air­port-relat­ed projects in 34 states that the Fed­er­al Avi­a­tion Admin­is­tra­tion announced on Fri­day. The fund­ing was includ­ed in the Infra­struc­ture Invest­ment and Jobs Act, which some call the Bipar­ti­san Infra­struc­ture Law.
