Congressman’s son steals the show as father speaks at House podi­um

Rep. John Rose (R‑TN) brought his son, Guy, with him to the House floor on Mon­day, and the young­ster has now gone viral for his facial expres­sions as his father spoke.
The old­er Rose was deliv­er­ing a speech in which he con­demned the recent ver­dict in for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s hush mon­ey tri­al, though most of the atten­tion gen­er­at­ed online relat­ed to his son. Guy Rose was spot­ted star­ing into the cam­era for about the first minute of his father’s speech, and he could also be seen mak­ing fun­ny faces while his father deliv­ered his seri­ous address.
John Rose’s office con­firmed to the Wash­ing­ton Exam­in­er that the child was his son.
