Ida­ho Bar Des­ig­nates June As ‘Het­ero­sex­u­al Awe­some­ness Month,’ Offers Dis­counts For Straight Men

An Ida­ho bar is buck­ing the trend and pro­mot­ing June as “Het­ero­sex­u­al Awe­some­ness Month” rather than cel­e­brat­ing Pride.
Old State Saloon in Eagle, a town near the state cap­i­tal of Boise, announced the unique pro­mo­tion via its Face­book page. The venue has received a ton of sup­port on social media along with the expect­ed vit­ri­ol from left­ists.
The month’s spe­cials include straight men receiv­ing a free draft beer on Mon­days and straight cou­ples enjoy­ing a 15% dis­count on Wednes­days, the Face­book page adver­s­tised.
Old State Saloon added sev­er­al updates to the post after its pro­mo­tion went viral. 
“It seems as though peo­ple who are against Het­ero­sex­u­al Awe­some­ness Month have a hard time com­ment­ing with­out using hor­rif­ic words, exple­tives, using the name of the Lord in vain, etc. Make an intel­li­gent com­ment and stay. Cuss and you are banned. Thanks. We’ve banned about 25 already,” one post said.
