Former President Donald Trump is holding a political rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, his first since his historic conviction.
The rally comes as part of a tour of the West, which saw visits to Arizona and California. His visit to Nevada, a key swing state, is aimed at boosting his chances in November. Trump’s team has expressed optimism about his chances in Nevada, where he lost by just two points in 2020.
“Some of us believe that we might be better positioned in Nevada [this cycle] than we are even in Georgia,” a source close to Trump told CNN.

Trump became the first president in United States history to be convicted of a felony on May 31. He was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.
