Nadler received donation from former domestic terrorist in months following Jan. 6

Rep. Jer­ry Nadler (D‑NY), a long­time House Demo­c­rat and advo­cate of jus­tice, received cam­paign dona­tions from a for­mer mem­ber of a domes­tic ter­ror­ist group in the months fol­low­ing the Jan. 6 riots. 
Nadler received $1,000 from Susan Rosen­berg in July 2021, accord­ing to cam­paign finance records uncov­ered by the Wash­ing­ton Free Bacon. Nadler has been one of the most out­spo­ken Democ­rats against right-wing extrem­ism fol­low­ing Jan. 6, 2021.
Rosen­berg was a mem­ber of the May 19th Com­mu­nist Orga­ni­za­tion and was affil­i­at­ed with oth­er rev­o­lu­tion­ary orga­ni­za­tions. In 1988, she was sen­tenced to 58 years in prison for pos­sess­ing hun­dreds of pounds of explo­sives and machine guns, accord­ing to the FBI, with the intent to use them in polit­i­cal­ly moti­vat­ed bomb­ings. She was lat­er par­doned by then-Pres­i­dent Bill Clin­ton in 2001, with the sup­port of Nadler.
