GOP Releas­es 2024 Plat­form Ahead Of Con­ven­tion: ‘A Return To Com­mon Sense’

The Repub­li­can Par­ty released its 2024 plat­form on Mon­day, one week before the start of the GOP con­ven­tion where for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump is set to be nom­i­nat­ed for a third time.
The new par­ty plat­form par­rots talk­ing points used by Trump through­out his 2024 pres­i­den­tial cam­paign, focus­ing on secur­ing the bor­der, deport­ing ille­gal immi­grants, and end­ing infla­tion, among a list of oth­er pri­or­i­ties. In the doc­u­ment, Pres­i­dent Joe Biden’s time in office is slammed as chaot­ic and unsta­ble as the U.S. faces “Rag­ing Infla­tion, Open Bor­ders, Ram­pant Crime, Attacks on our Chil­dren, and Glob­al Con­flict.”
