Gas prices: Another day, another increase at the pumps 

Gas prices increased again on Thurs­day, with the aver­age price of a gal­lon of reg­u­lar gas ris­ing to $3.521, accord­ing to AAA. This was an increase over Wednesday’s aver­age cost of $3.513 per gal­lon.
While prices have fluc­tu­at­ed in 2024, there has been a decrease in the pumps in recent weeks and months. Nev­er­the­less, gas prices remain sig­nif­i­cant­ly high­er than when for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump was in office.
