Hunter Biden sen­tenc­ing set for Novem­ber

Hunter Biden’s sen­tenc­ing for his felony gun case is set for Nov. 13.
Biden made his­to­ry in June, becom­ing the first son of a sit­ting pres­i­dent to be crim­i­nal­ly con­vict­ed over three charges relat­ed to a 2018 gun pur­chase. He was con­vict­ed of lying on a fed­er­al form about his drug use to pur­chase a firearm, sub­mit­ting a false state­ment into a fed­er­al record, and unlaw­ful­ly pos­sess­ing the firearm for 11 days.
He will report to a Wilm­ing­ton, Delaware, cour­t­house Wednes­day, Nov. 13, for his sen­tenc­ing, eight days after the pres­i­den­tial elec­tion.
The court fil­ing lay­ing out the court date includ­ed fur­ther instruc­tions regard­ing logis­tics, such as when to sub­mit the pre­sen­tence report and what to com­mu­ni­cate with the pro­ba­tion offi­cer.
