Pelosi claims Biden’s face should be added to Mount Rush­more

For­mer House Speak­er Nan­cy Pelosi (D‑CA) argued in a new inter­view that Pres­i­dent Joe Biden is a “Mount Rush­more kind of pres­i­dent” and indi­cat­ed his face should be includ­ed as part of the icon­ic mon­u­ment.
The his­toric mon­u­ment, locat­ed in South Dako­ta, fea­tures for­mer U.S. Pres­i­dents George Wash­ing­ton, Thomas Jef­fer­son, Abra­ham Lin­coln, and Theodore Roo­sevelt. Pelosi argued that Biden has been “such a con­se­quen­tial pres­i­dent” when reflect­ing on his term.
“But you got Ted­dy Roo­sevelt up there, and he’s won­der­ful,” Pelosi said. “I don’t say take him down, but you can add Biden.”
