Vice President Kamala Harris has been abandoning her left-wing policies, but Sen. Bernie Sanders (I‑VT) thinks embracing those liberal ideas will actually help her win more votes.
While he has yet to endorse Harris, Sanders has been working to help drum up support for the vice president. He commissioned a poll in the swing states of Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, where he found that the majority of the 1,150 voters polled supported implementing left-wing ideas such as raising the minimum wage, raising taxes on the wealthy and corporations, Medicare for All, and making public colleges tuition free.
