For­mer Secret Ser­vice Chief Want­ed To Destroy Evi­dence Of Cocaine Found In White House: Report

On July 2, 2023, a mem­ber of the Secret Ser­vice dis­cov­ered a bag of cocaine in the White House.
Accord­ing to a new report from Real Clear Pol­i­tics, for­mer Secret Ser­vice Direc­tor Kim­ber­ly Chea­tle, who was appoint­ed to her posi­tion in 2022 part­ly because of her close rela­tion­ship with First Lady Jill Biden, want­ed to destroy the evi­dence. When the mem­ber of the Secret Ser­vice found the evi­dence, he report­ed­ly want­ed to imple­ment a par­tic­u­lar crime-scene inves­tiga­tive pro­to­col, but was then removed from the case.
