Trump bragged to North Korea’s Kim Jong Un that his desk’s ‘red button’ is bigger

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump revealed new insights to pop­u­lar inter­net per­son­al­i­ty Adin Ross about his rela­tion­ship with North Kore­an leader Kim Jong Un.
“This man I real­ly get along with well,” Trump said in an inter­view when Ross showed him a pic­ture of the North Kore­an leader, whom Trump fre­quent­ly called “Lit­tle Rock­et Man.”
“He said, ‘I have a red but­ton on my desk.’ And I said, ‘No, I have a red but­ton, too, and mine is big­ger than yours. And mine works,’” Trump recalled of an exchange that he had with Kim.

The two lead­ers met in June 2018 for a his­toric sum­mit in Sin­ga­pore, where it was the first meet­ing ever between a sit­ting U.S. pres­i­dent and a North Kore­an leader to dis­cuss the denu­cleariza­tion of the Kore­an Penin­su­la.
