Vir­ginia man charged with mak­ing threat to kill Kamala Har­ris

A Vir­ginia man is being charged with know­ing­ly and will­ful­ly mak­ing online threats to kill Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Har­ris.
Frank Lucio Car­il­lo, 66, was charged with the crimes after mak­ing the threats last month, accord­ing to fed­er­al court fil­ings. Secu­ri­ty sur­round­ing pres­i­den­tial can­di­dates has been height­ened after the assas­si­na­tion attempt on for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, as both Repub­li­cans and Democ­rats have con­demned polit­i­cal vio­lence.
“Kamala Har­ris needs to be put on fire alive I will do it per­son­al­ly if no one else does it I want her to suf­fer a slow ago­niz­ing death,” Car­il­lo alleged­ly wrote on GETTR, a con­ser­v­a­tive microblog­ging web­site, on July 27, per the fil­ings.
