Trump says Har­ris is afraid of a Fox News debate

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump accused Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Har­ris of being “afraid” to show up to a debate host­ed by Fox News.
“Kam­abla Har­ris is afraid to Debate me on FoxNews,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “She will be eas­i­er to defeat on the Debate Stage than Crooked Joe Biden, just watch!”
The for­mer president’s jab comes after he said he would skip an ABC News debate sched­uled for Sept. 10, which he had agreed to before Pres­i­dent Joe Biden dropped out of the pres­i­den­tial race.
He said the debate had been “ter­mi­nat­ed in that Biden will no longer be a par­tic­i­pant” and ​​argued his lit­i­ga­tion against ABC News and host George Stephanopou­los pre­sent­ed a con­flict of inter­est.
Trump instead pro­posed a Sept. 4 debate on Fox News in Penn­syl­va­nia, mod­er­at­ed by Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Martha Mac­Cal­lum. He added the debate would have a “full are­na audi­ence,” unlike his sched­uled debate with Biden.
